The original revolving bookcase was designed so the entire unit rotated on the legs.
This was fine in their day because the candle or oil lamp did not have a cord that would
wrap itself around the case. I designed this bookcase so the top remains stationary and
the inner bookshelf with four compartments revolves. That way the lamp stays put.
The revolving bookshelf rides on a 12" diameter lazy Susan, available at most large
hardware stores or through Rockler.

18" x 18" x 26-11/16" high.
